The brow lift, or ‘chemical’ brow lift, is a very popular technique and is used to alleviate heaviness and depression of the eyebrow area.

Eyebrow lifts are successful in treating mild to moderate heaviness in the brow for those patients wanting to avoid surgery and even, subtly contour the face.

Botox® or Filler from the Juvederm range is used within this procedure, dependent upon the Doctor’s advice and the patient’s desired results.

Botox® is injected into the delicate muscles around the eye area. This relaxes the muscles and allows the overlying skin to become smooth. Wrinkles fade away and the brows are lifted, giving a brighter more youthful appearance. An alternative method, if applicable, for the patient upon the Doctor’s advice would include filler instead or in addition of – using the Juvederm Range.

Numbing cream can be applied to the area and ultra-fine needles are used to ensure the eyebrow lift is virtually pain free.

The effects will approximately last between three to four months but this can vary depending on the patient. The patient’s results will be assessed at their review appointment which is typically two to three weeks following the eyebrow lift.
