Both INNOAESTHETICS & pHformula were formulated by 4th Generation Pharmacist, Fernando Bouffard Fita, PhD, to this day are made in the same lab in Barcelona, share training centres and you can even spot the formation of pHformula in their parent brand’s Brand History! In fact, it was in 2010, that the INNOAESTHETICS laboratory developed a new project, now known as phFormula, incorporating the concept of “chemical skin resurfacing” and other key products.

Formulated to promote the elimination of dead stratum corneum cells from dry and dehydrated skins. Enables hydrolipidic mantle balance restoration, returning the skin’s hydration, softness and shine.

Chemical Skin Resurfacing Treatments FAQs
As superficial layers of the skin are somewhat uneffected, with the penetration of the treatments being controlled with the patented PH-DVC™ or Smart GPS®, downtime is minimal. However, optimising results is what we always aim for, so following your CULTSKIN® Skin Specialists advice with homecare and products is essential… including your SPF!
Depending upon how your skin reacted within treatment, what to expect thereafter will always be discussed and explained by your CULTSKIN® Skin Specialist. If ever unsure, or have a particular question in mind you forgot to ask, please do not hesitate to drop our Patient Care team an email, message or phone call and they’ll be happy to help.
These treatments do not focus on superficial irritation than that traditional peeling does. Flaking or peeling is not the end result, but can occur for some patients. If flaking is experienced, the contributing reason is the sloughing off of excessive dead skin cells due to the internal regenerating effect of the chemical resurfacing. We advise to keep hydrated, reapply your prescribed Moisturiser/Home Care solution as often as needed and ensure you’re using SPF daily within your homecare routine.
Maintaining healthly skin is essential during and post pregnancy. In fact, during pregnancy, 90% of women experience a worsening of pre-existing skin conditions or the appearance of new dermatoses.
It is recommended that the use of retinols is avoided during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester. The skin absorbs very little salicylic acid from products below a 2% concentration, anything higher however, can pose a greater risk. Here at CULTSKIN® we take this into account when prescribing products and recommending treatments, so these two ingredients will be avoided altogether. We have a variety of adapted treatments and a list of INNOAESTHETIC & pHformula products that are completely safe for use by those pregnant or lactating!
