Polynucleotides are regenerative injectable treatments made from highly purified DNA fragments. Rather than adding volume (like traditional filler), they are designed to support skin repair and improve overall skin quality including texture, hydration and elasticity.
They are especially useful in areas where skin is thin or fragile (such as the under eyes, neck and hands) and for patients who want gradual improvement in skin quality without a “done” look.
At CULTSKIN, polynucleotides are used as part of a structured skin optimisation plan, often alongside other collagen-stimulating and skin-rejuvenating treatments. The focus is long-term skin health and resilience, not short term surface change.
Polynucleotides support tissue repair by improving the skin’s regenerative environment. They help stimulate fibroblast activity (cells involved in collagen production), support microcirculation and encourage healthier skin structure over time.
Results develop gradually. Many patients notice improved hydration and texture after the first session, with more visible improvements in firmness and skin quality following a course of treatments.
Your appointment begins with a comprehensive consultation led by one of CULTSKIN’s expert doctors or highly trained advanced therapists. We assess your skin quality, medical history and goals to confirm suitability and create a structured plan (including recommended session spacing).
Treatment is performed in one of our premium clinical spaces across London, Surrey or Newcastle. We prioritise comfort and discretion in a calm, elevated setting. Refreshments are available, and topical anaesthetic may be used where appropriate.
You’ll receive tailored aftercare guidance and a clear results timeline. Mild redness, swelling or small bumps at injection points may occur temporarily. Our patient care team remains available should you have questions, and follow-up is arranged where required.

Suitability will always be confirmed during consultation with a CULTSKIN clinician.
For optimal results, 3 treatments are recommended per area, to be administered 3 weeks apart.
Thereafter, a maintenance treatment is recommended every 9 months for most, unless you’re CULTSKIN® Doctor or Dr Esho advises another round, but this is dependent upon what is trying to be achieved/targeted.
In comparison to other skin boosters, due to the nature of the treatment, Polynucleotides can be treated in a large variety of areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, hands, body, scalp and also intimate areas!
Typically administered via a cannula, and sometimes micro-needled in the more superficial layers of skin towards the end of treatment, redness, possible bruising and slight swelling should be expected initially. However, patient and area dependent, having followed the aftercare advice given, this should subside anywhere from a few hours to a few days after treatment.
After the first treatment, you should start to see results and positive changes from the skin quite quickly. The product continues to work for the first 12 weeks, so continues to improve with time. This is only exaggerated after the second and third treatments within your treatment plan, to further optimise results!

Beautiful lips aren’t just about the treatment – they’re about how you care for them afterwards.
1. Hydrate from within
Many hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are hydrophilic, meaning they attract and bind water. Staying well hydrated helps support the appearance and feel of your lips. Aim for at least 2 litres of water a day.
2. Hydrate from the outside
Keep your lips moisturised with a nourishing balm, ideally one containing hyaluronic acid and barrier-supporting ingredients. Healthy, hydrated lips help maintain a smooth finish and protect your results.
3. Protect your lips from UV
Sun exposure and sunbeds can dry and damage the delicate lip tissue. Use SPF on your lips whenever you’re outdoors and avoid unnecessary UV exposure to help preserve both your lips and your results.
4. Don’t chase the swelling
The swelling immediately after treatment isn’t your final result—it’s inflammation. Using a cool pack (as advised by your practitioner) can help minimise swelling and improve comfort. Allow your lips to settle naturally before deciding if you need any further treatment.
